Call for Papers

TESOL Bangladesh and Daffodil International University invite scholars, researchers, educators, and practitioners to participate in the TESOL BD–DIU International Conference 2025. The conference provides a platform to share research, innovative practices, and critical reflections on language education in the era of AI and social transformation.

We welcome contributions addressing the main theme and the following sub-themes (but not limited to):

• Harmonising language and literature studies

• Language education and reformation

• Empowering humanity in language learning

• Learner-oriented innovations in language teaching

• Technology as a catalyst for language education reform

• Social media and the democratisation of language reformation

• Sustainable practices in tech-enhanced education

• Technology and human-focused learning

• Integrating overlooked perspectives in language education

• Use of language in a digital era

• Advocacy for multilingual societies

• Ethical tech and mental health

• Education for social change and wellness

• Evolving teachers’ roles in the age of AI

• Teachers’ challenges in adopting AI in teaching

• Fostering critical thinking through AI

• Integrating AI in teaching literature and cultural studies

Presentation Types

• Papers: 15 minutes

• Workshops: 30 minutes

• Colloquia/Symposia: 35 minutes

• Poster Presentations: 10 minutes

Abstract Submission Guidelines

• Title: max. 15 words

• Abstract: max. 200 words

• Session Summary: max. 300 words

• Non-members: Tk. 3000

• Students (except MPhil/PhD research scholars): Tk. 2000

• International (SAARC): USD 80

• International (Non-SAARC): USD 100

Early Bird Registration

• TESOL BD Members (Dhaka-based): Tk. 2000

• Non-members: Tk. 2500

• Students (except MPhil/PhD research scholars): Tk. 1500

• International (SAARC): USD 50

• International (Non-SAARC): USD 80

Selected papers will be published in the Special Issues of TESOL Bangladesh Journal.
